The “Neverland Ranch” garden house, which was the memorial of late pop star Michael Jackson, has been sold. Billionaire investor Ron Burkle, a former family friend of Jackson recently bought the luxury home in California for $22 million.
According to Reuters, the house was built on 2,700 acres (1,100 hectare) of land. The house was priced at $100 million in 2015. The house is sold for less than a quarter of the fair price. Last year, the house was worth $31 million.
The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, bought the building in 1988 for $19 million. The estate includes railway lines, fire stations and spacious gardens. There was also a zoo where the children and the children were to come.
Also, there are a 12,500 square-foot main residence, a 3,700 square-foot pool house, a 50-seat movie theater, and a dance studio.
Besides, there are also a “Disney-style” train station, a fire house and barn.
The name , Neverland, has been taken from the “Peter Pan” tale of a boy who refused to grew up.
The compound was sold more than 10 years after the death of the pop star who abandoned the property following his trial on charges of molesting a young boy there.
