Mashrafe Mortaza, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal, and Mahmudullah Riyad were seen in a different avatar night on Friday.
The five cricket superstars, known as the fab five of Bangladesh cricket, have been participating in the ongoing Bangabandhu T20 Cup. They were seen taking part in a bio-secure bubble. So, to bring some color to their bubble life, they planned a BBQ party and sang songs and danced.
A video of them singing and dancing went viral on social media platforms. Other cricket stars — Rubel Hossain and Taskin Ahmed — shared the video on their social media accounts.

In the video, Mashrafe, former ODI captain of Bangladesh, was seen singing the song ‘Baba’ composed by Bangladeshi singer James. The big four cricketers were singing but Shakib did not as he did not know the lyrics. Later, Shakib requested Mashrafe to change the song so that he could participate with them. And Mashrafe listened to him.
Mashrafe started to sing another song — Baba Tomar Dorbare Sob Pagoler Khela. Shakib suddenly started dancing wild as soon as he heard the song.
Rubel Hossain has written on his Facebook page, “BBQ party and singing night”.
Also, Taskin Ahmed shared the video and said, “BBQ party and fun #BangabandhuT20Cup #legends 5 heroes of Bangladesh cricket.”
