US President Donald Trump has been flown to hospital hours after he tested positive for Coronavirus.
He was taken at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Friday evening, the White House has said, CNN reports.
He will remain hospitalized for “the next few days”, the report said.
According to the White House, the decision to transport Trump to the medical center was taken “out of an abundance of caution”. BBC said this in a report.
Trump, who had a fever, confirmed early on Friday in a twitter message that he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for Coronavirus.
Earlier, Donald Trump’s very close female aide Hope Hicks was found infected with Coronavirus so far. And now Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have been diagnosed with Covid-19.
Hicks recently arrived in Ohio to attend the first presidential debate with Trump. After Hicks’ Coronavirus test came positive, everyone’s attention was on Trump’s side.
The adviser was also seen in Marine One along with Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, Dan Scavino, and Nicholas Luna. Surprisingly, none of them were wearing face masks at that time.

According to the CNN report, no specific precautionary measures have been taken in the White House even after Hicks found Covid-19 positive. However, White House spokesman Judd Deere said, “The president is serious about the health and safety of all those who work with him for American people.” He added that President Trump and those who accompany him are always taking precautionary measures to prevent the deadly virus.
