Priyanka Chopra Expresses Solidarity with Protesting Farmers
Priyanka Chopra has expressed solidarity with the farmers who have been protesting at Delhi’s Ghazipur border for the past 12 days. They have been demanding the withdrawal of the agriculture act in India. Also, they have been spending their nights under the open sky, ignoring the intense cold.
Many Bollywood stars have been silent about the unprecedented move. However, actor and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra has expressed her solidarity in a Twitter message.

In a tweet, she wrote, “Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crises is resolved sooner than later.”

Priyanka also extended support to singer-actor Diljit. And she quoted the Punjabi star’s tweet.
