NFL Draft 2025: 17 Top Players Confirmed to Attend in Green Bay

NFL Draft 2025 Attendees

The National Football League (NFL) officially announced on Monday that 17 of the top college football prospects have confirmed their attendance at the 2025 NFL Draft, set to take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 24 to April 26. This marks a significant moment for both the athletes and fans, as the draft not only determines the future of these talented players but also sets the tone for team rebuilds and strategy across the league.

Draft Venue and Dates: A Historic First for Green Bay

This year marks the first time in history that the NFL Draft will be held in Green Bay, the iconic home of the Green Bay Packers and the legendary Lambeau Field. The league chose this location to honor the rich football heritage and passionate fan base of one of its most storied franchises.

The event will span three days:

  • Round 1: Thursday, April 24, 2025
  • Rounds 2–3: Friday, April 25, 2025
  • Rounds 4–7: Saturday, April 26, 2025

The draft will be broadcast live on NFL Network, ABC, and ESPN, with streaming options via NFL.com and the NFL App.

Heisman Trophy Winner Travis Hunter to Attend

Leading the group of confirmed attendees is Travis Hunter, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and a rare two-way player listed as both a defensive back and wide receiver. Hailing from the University of Colorado, Hunter gained national attention for his incredible athleticism, elite ball skills, and ability to dominate on both sides of the ball.

Despite earlier statements made by Colorado head coach Deion Sanders in January—announcing that the school would host a public draft-day party for Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders—Hunter has opted to attend the event in person. However, Shedeur Sanders will not be present at the draft.

Hunter’s attendance signals the seriousness of his NFL aspirations, and many analysts project him to be a top-five pick, potentially even the first non-quarterback off the board.

Quarterbacks in Focus: Three Big Names Confirmed

Quarterbacks are always in the spotlight at the draft, and three top QB prospects will be in attendance in Green Bay:

1. Cameron Ward (Miami, Fla.)

Formerly a standout at Washington State, Cam Ward transferred to the University of Miami for his senior year and had a breakout season. Known for his mobility, quick decision-making, and deep-ball accuracy, Ward has steadily risen in mock draft rankings. Some analysts project him as the No. 1 overall pick, potentially headed to the Tennessee Titans, who are rumored to be looking for a franchise quarterback.

2. Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss)

A dual-threat quarterback with a solid build and excellent poise in the pocket, Dart improved significantly under head coach Lane Kiffin. His combination of leadership, mechanics, and SEC experience makes him a strong early-round candidate.

3. Jalen Milroe (Alabama)

Perhaps the most athletic of the three, Milroe dazzled fans with his explosive runs and big-arm throws during the 2024 college season. While some scouts question his consistency, his high ceiling has teams intrigued.

School Representation: Alabama Leads with Three Players

Among the 17 attendees, several major college football programs are prominently featured:

  • Alabama Crimson Tide leads the list with three players invited.
  • Georgia Bulldogs and Michigan Wolverines each have two players attending.
  • Other top programs represented include LSU, Penn State, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Arizona, Boise State, and Colorado.

These players reflect the pipeline of NFL talent that consistently flows from powerhouse college programs.
