Meghan Markle & Gwyneth Paltrow End ‘Beef’ Rumors with Sweet Video

Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow Squash Beef

For months, the internet has been buzzing with speculation about a supposed rift between Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow. But now, both women have made it clear—there’s no feud at all. In fact, they recently shared a light-hearted video that proves they’re on friendly terms.

Clearing the Air on Instagram

On Tuesday, March 26, Gwyneth Paltrow addressed the rumors directly during one of her Instagram Stories Q&A sessions. A curious follower asked her, “Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?”

Standing in her kitchen, where kitchenware clinked in the background, Paltrow looked straight at the camera and replied honestly, “I genuinely do not understand this at all, whatsoever.”

Then, in a playful moment, she turned to someone off-camera and asked if they understood the gossip. The camera then revealed none other than Meghan Markle herself, sitting comfortably at the kitchen table, casually enjoying a slice of pie. Meghan shrugged and motioned that she was just as confused about the rumors.

A Video That Says It All

Though short, the video made a big impact. It not only dismissed any talk of drama but also showed a warm, relaxed moment between the two women. Meghan’s presence in Paltrow’s kitchen hinted at a friendly and casual bond—far from the rivalry some fans imagined.

Friendly Neighbors, Not Rivals

Earlier in March, Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair and addressed rumors that she viewed Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, as competition to her own wellness company, Goop.

“I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes,” she told the magazine. “There’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try.”

She added, “Another woman is never your competition.” Her words sent a clear message about supporting women rather than tearing them down.

Past Comments Stirred Curiosity

Despite living in the same upscale Montecito neighborhood as Meghan and Prince Harry, Gwyneth previously clarified that they weren’t close. “I don’t know Meghan and Harry,” she told Vanity Fair. “I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all.”

She even joked about needing to get past their security just to bring them a pie—making her recent kitchen video with Meghan even more surprising and delightful.

Meghan’s Return to Lifestyle Content

Before launching As Ever and her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex was known for her blog The Tig, which she started in 2014. The blog focused on food, travel, and wellness. She shut it down in 2017 after her relationship with Prince Harry became serious.

Earlier this month, Meghan surprised longtime fans from her Tig days by hosting a special screening event for her Netflix series. This nostalgic move reminded many of her roots in the lifestyle space—a path similar to the one Paltrow has walked with Goop since launching her own newsletter in 2008.

No Feud, Just Friendship

The short video clip of Meghan and Gwyneth laughing off the rumors not only brought an end to the online chatter—it also reminded fans of something important: women can support each other, even when they work in similar spaces.

Their relaxed moment together sent a simple but powerful message—there’s no drama, just pie and good vibes.
