Tech billionaire Elon Musk has finally addressed the controversy surrounding conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair’s claim that he is the father of her five-month-old child.
The unexpected revelation has sparked widespread media attention, with St. Clair urging respect for their child’s privacy while criticizing Musk’s lack of public acknowledgment.
Ashley St. Clair Announces She Shares a Child with Musk
On Friday, 26-year-old Ashley St. Clair made the shocking announcement that she and Musk share a child together. Her representative, Brian Glicklich, confirmed the claim on X (formerly Twitter), stating that both parties had been discussing a co-parenting arrangement privately.
It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially,” Glicklich said in his post. He added that St. Clair expects Musk to take responsibility publicly and finalize their agreement for the child’s well-being and security.
Musk’s Cryptic Response Sparks Debate
Musk, known for his often cryptic and brief posts on social media, responded to the claims with a single word—“Whoa”—in reply to a post alleging that St. Clair had planned for years to have his child. His reaction quickly fueled further speculation about the situation.
In response, St. Clair directly called out Musk, criticizing his approach to the controversy.
Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded. When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?” she wrote.
St. Clair Speaks Out About Media Pressure
St. Clair revealed that she had initially chosen not to disclose her child’s paternity to protect their privacy. However, she claimed that media pressure forced her to go public.
I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she explained. She urged reporters to respect her child’s privacy and refrain from invasive coverage.
Three hours after her initial statement, St. Clair thanked her supporters and announced she was logging off X, seemingly to avoid further public scrutiny.
Musk’s Expanding Family
If St. Clair’s claim is true, the child would be Musk’s 13th. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO already has multiple children with three other women:
- Justine Wilson (First Wife): Five children—twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
- Grimes (Musician & Ex-Partner): Three children—X Æ A-12 (“X”), Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus.
- Shivon Zilis (Neuralink Executive): Twins—Strider and Azure.
Recently, Musk and some of his children were seen together during his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting his involvement in their lives despite his busy schedule.
What Happens Next?
As the controversy unfolds, it remains unclear how Musk will handle the situation. While St. Clair demands public acknowledgment and finalization of a co-parenting agreement, Musk has yet to confirm or deny the claim directly.
With both figures attracting media attention, this developing story is likely to spark further debate about privacy, public accountability, and Musk’s growing family legacy.
