Many people have argued over the value of Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at Turin in terms of football. However, another issue that arose during his tenure with Juventus has surfaced.
The Al-Nassr and Portugal star has chosen to sue his former club Juventus for unpaid payments earned during his time in Serie A.
The Bianconeri are said to owe him €19.9 million. After numerous attempts to recover the money, Ronaldo has decided to file a lawsuit against Juventus. According to the Italian newspaper Gazzetta, he made this choice after speaking with the prosecutor’s office in Turin.
Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Turin following a 10-year spell at Real Madrid. During his time in Turin, he won two Serie A titles, one Copa Italia, and one Supercoppa Italiana. He departed Juventus after three years, having scored 101 goals in 134 matches.
In recent years, Juventus appears to have developed a reputation for mistreating players, since Ronaldo is not the first one to file legal action against the Bianconeri.
Leonardo Bonucci, who spent the majority of his professional career at the club before joining Union Berlin, is also planning to suit overtraining circumstances.
It is said that his attorneys would proceed with the legal case, which will include a’request for reimbursement for damages due to the alleged absence of suitable training and preparatory conditions accessible to Bonucci’.
“It’s a decision that’s been a long time coming, and it’s due to the fact that I’ve read and heard a lot of things that aren’t true,” Bonucci said in an interview.
