How to Use Same WhatsApp Account on 4 Smartphones at a time? [Step-by-Step Guide]

Listen to the Podcast:

WhatsApp has added a new function that lets people use the same account on more than one device. Users of the chat app WhatsApp can now use their account on up to four devices at once.

The Meta-owned platform said that the new feature will let users connect each device to WhatsApp on its own and make sure that texts, media, and calls are encrypted from end to end.

If the primary device isn’t used for a long time, all the other devices that are linked to the user’s WhatsApp account will immediately log out. WhatsApp has said that linking phones as companion devices will make chatting easier for users by letting them switch between devices without having to log out and by letting them pick up where they left off in a conversation.

The tool will also help small business owners, and an employee of the business will now be able to reply to customers through the same WhatsApp business account.

The chat platform has announced a new way to link companion devices that is “different and easier to use.” The new tool has been rolled out around the world, and all users will be able to use it in the next few weeks.

Users of WhatsApp Web don’t have to read a QR code to get a one-time code. Instead, they can type in their phone numbers. Then, they can use this code on their phone to link their devices.

Meta, the company that owns the platform, added the new feature at a time when it was trying to do more to protect its users’ privacy. In a recent update, WhatsApp made it possible for users to automatically post their WhatsApp Status to their Facebook Story if they turned on the function.

Earlier this year, WhatsApp made it possible to choose who can see your Status changes and who can’t. Users can now choose who can see their status changes.
