Suhana Khan is in the United States, but she made sure to send her love to her father Shah Rukh Khan, who turned 56 on Tuesday. Shanaya Kapoor, who turned 22 on Tuesday, was also wished by the 21-year-old.
Suhana just commented on Instagram Stories, “Happy Birthday”, after sharing an unseen monochrome photo with Shah Rukh and her mother Gauri Khan. Shah Rukh was photographed kissing a young Suhana, who appeared to be only a few years old at the time. Gauri took a seat next to them in a chair.
Suhana also posted a photo of Shah Rukh and Shanaya, captioning it with the phrase “best friends”. She also posted a separate photo of herself and Shanaya as children, captioning it, “22 I love you! Happy birthday.”
Suhana Khan recently released a collage of previously unseen childhood photos with Shah Rukh and her brother Aryan Khan, who was recently given bail in a drug case. In the caption, she had simply written: “I love you”.
This year, Shah Rukh had a low-key birthday, which came only days after Aryan was released on bail in the drugs-on-cruise case on October 30. Following his arrest in a Narcotics Control Bureau operation on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai, the 23-year-old spent more than three weeks in jail.
Several of Shah Rukh’s fans gathered outside his Mannat home to wish him a happy birthday and await his regular appearance on the balcony. Many of his industry colleagues and friends wrote extensive emails to express their support and congratulate him for his “grace” and “dignity” on the occasion.
Pathan, Shah Rukh’s next film, is currently in production. After the failure of his 2018 film — Zero, he will reconnect with his Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone in his comeback project.
