The Foo Fighters kicked off their 2024 UK tour with a thrilling surprise for fans in Manchester. On Thursday night, the band debuted a long lost song titled “Unconditional” during their performance at Emirates Old Trafford Stadium.
Rediscovery of “Unconditional”
Years ago, during home studio sessions, a representative for the Foo Fighters revealed that they partially wrote and demoed “Unconditional”. However, the song remained unfinished until recently.
The rediscovery happened spontaneously during rehearsals for the UK tour. The band decided to share the song live after just one run-through, staying true to their spontaneous style.

The Foo Fighters will spend the next month playing at stadiums and festivals across the UK and Europe. Fans can look forward to performances in major cities such as Glasgow, London, Cardiff, and Birmingham.
The band will also make appearances at prominent festivals like Hellfest in France, Open’er Festival in Poland, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, and Rock Werchter in Belgium.
