WhatsApp, an instant messaging service, is developing a new feature that will enable users to post status changes to Facebook stories without leaving the app.
The process may be automatic for some status updates you choose when the option is turned on, according to a recent report by WABetaInfo, a website that tracks the most recent upgrades by WhatsApp. In the past, users could share status updates, but they had to do so manually every time they made a new one.
Status updates from WhatsApp new feature are shared on Facebook is entirely up to the individual users. This option is optional, and it is by default disabled. If a status update needs to be shared, it can be enabled directly in the privacy settings for the status.
Users of WhatsApp have the option to turn off the ability to broadcast their status updates on Facebook stories at any moment. According to the WABetaInfo report, it will allow users to share their updates with a larger audience. According to the website, users may be able to share their updates on Instagram in the not too distant future.
Currently in development is a function that allows users to post status updates to Facebook Stories without leaving the Meta-owned platform.
In a recent statement, WhatsApp claimed that roughly 46 lakh Indian accounts had been terminated in February after being found to be in violation of its user safety policies. In its India Monthly report, the platform noted the activities performed on the accounts.
