Google is rolling out and expanding access to its new AI chatbot, Bard, to teenage users globally starting on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Bard will be made available in most countries around the world, with safety features and guardrails specifically implemented for underage users under 18 years old.

There will be a tailored and personalized onboarding experience developed specifically for teenage users under 18 years old when they first start using Bard. This specialized onboarding will include tips on how to use AI chatbots responsibly, overviews explaining how Bard works and functions, and easy options to turn on or off certain features of Bard. Safety Features and Guardrails Designed for Underage Users
