People should always eat light and healthy food if want to stay fit and healthy, NDTV reports quoting diet expert Dr. Ranjana Singh. The most important thing is that you eat food on time. Additionally, you can eat fiber rich food to boost your digestive system. Also, you can exercise to get relief from such problems.

1. Eat fiber rich diet 

Fiber plays an important role in digestion and it is important to take soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. Both fiber will help increase digestive system in different ways. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and legumes are good sources of fiber.

2. Chew food properly

Chew the food properly and eat it to digest, says Dr. Ranjana says. When anyone chews the food properly, it makes the digestive system easier. You should not eat any food in a hurry. Because it can cause indigestion. So, chew your food slowly and properly.

3. Drink water to stay hydrated 

Drink plenty of water to keep the digestive system healthy. Also, people should consume fresh fruit juices, lemonade and coconut water. Because it’s good for digestive system.

4. Exercise is a must

Do not go to bed after eating food. Take a little walk Because physical exercise is very important for health. Regular physical activity helps in keeping your digestive system healthy. So, you can go for a walk, run and do yoga. But during the Coronavirus situation, you can exercise or perform yoga at your home.
