Fans who wanted to know if Legends of Tomorrow will come back for Season 8. Legends of Tomorrow was DC’s little CW show, just like the team it was named after. When it first aired, it seemed like a place for characters who had been cut from other Arrowverse shows. But over time, it became its own thing and became the most unique show in the Arrowverse. Now, people want Legends of Tomorrow season 8.

Unfortunately, having a lot of heart might not be enough to keep Legends of Tomorrow from being canceled, and the Season 7 finale had a lot going on. The fight between the evil AI technology, Gideon, and the Legends was a big part of the story, even though the Legends were living happy, normal lives when they weren’t trying to fix the past. In the end, Sara is even shown to be pregnant.

Everything comes together when they find out that Gwyn has gone back in time. Let’s look into the future of Legends of Tomorrow season 8 and find out if it has been canceled or renewed back to life.

Have Legends of Tomorrow Season 8 been Canceled?

As soon as season 7 ended, Legends of Tomorrow season 8 was in doubt, but in April, Legends showrunner Keto Shimizu confirmed that the CW had officially pulled the plug. When it became clear that the show hadn’t been picked up for a new season by early 2022, there was talk that it might be canceled. There were rumors that Legends of Tomorrow season 8 had been found online, but Keto Shimizu sent out a tweet to put those rumors to rest.

Shimizu had said in the past that for the Legends of Tomorrow season 7 finale, they “chose to go the optimistic route and tell a story that propels into a future season,” but a number of financial plans ended up killing the show. The network was canceled at the same time that WarnerMedia and ViacomCBS were trying to sell it. Legend of Tomorrow was canceled before season 8 started, even though it had a lot of loyal fans and good ratings for a CW show.

Why Legends of Tomorrow was Canceled?

Even though it didn’t get the best ratings, Legends of Tomorrow did pretty well for The CW. It had more viewers than Riverdale season 7 and about the same number as Kung Fu. Even though Legends has been on for a long time, it was one of the few shows whose ratings went up in the last few years. Still, neither of those other shows was canceled, while Legends was. We can say that the Arrowverse has been in trouble for a while now because people aren’t as interested in it as they used to be. After Arrow, Supergirl, and Black Lightning ended, other spin-offs were canceled before they even started, leaving some big holes in The CW’s lineup of superhero shows.

And now, with the end of both Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow, there are only four Arrowverse-style shows left: The Flash, Naomi, Stargirl, and Superman & Lois. Let’s face it: The Flash season 9 is almost certainly going to be it’s last. So, there are only three more superhero shows on the network, and each one is pretty different from the others in the Arrowverse. When you add in the fact that Naomi hasn’t been renewed yet, it looks like the Arrowverse as we know it will change soon.

Even though no official reason has been given for the cancellation of Legends, it seems likely that the sale of The CW was a major factor. Nexstar, a media company, is in talks to buy the most important part of the network. This, along with the changes in Warner Bros.’s management since Discovery bought the company, means that expensive superhero shows like Legends of Tomorrow may have just been cut to save money in these uncertain times.

Could and should Netflix Revive “Legends of Tomorrow”?

In reality, we don’t think there’s much chance that the show will come back on Netflix. Before Legends of Tomorrow, Netflix often brought back shows that had less time on the clock (fewer seasons) and wasn’t as connected to other shows as Legends of Tomorrow is. Since most of the Arrowverse is likely to move from Netflix to HBO Max over the next 10 years, that’s where the show should be renewed if it gets renewed anywhere.

Our friends at Netflix Life are also not optimistic that Legends of Tomorrow or Batwoman, which was also canceled, will return to Netflix. Fans will still keep trying to get Netflix or HBO Max to give the show the ending it deserves. Would you like to see Legends of Tomorrow season 8 come back on Netflix with a new season or a movie? Legends of Tomorrow Season 8 Release Date

There have been a lot of questions about Legends of Tomorrow season 8, like which characters will come back. Also, with a show like Legends of Tomorrow, new characters from the larger DC universe were bound to show up at some point. Legends of Tomorrow season 8 has been canceled, so we don’t know what will happen to the show in the end.

The future of Legends of Tomorrow Season 8 is uncertain because the showrunner Keto Shimizu said in April that the CW had officially canceled the show, and by early 2022, it was clear that the show had not been renewed for Season 8. Before that, there was talk that it might be canceled, and rumors about Season 8 of Legends of Tomorrow being canceled were spread online. It looks like the rumors are true.

Shimizu had said before that they had planned for an eighth season, but the show was canceled in the end because of money problems. The cancellation happened at the same time that WarnerMedia and ViacomCBS wanted and planned to sell the CW and its shows. Because of this, Legends of Tomorrow season 8 could not be made. We think the show has loyal fans and decent ratings, so if someone wants to pick it up, we could see a new season in the future.

What Can be the Plot of “Legends of Tomorrow Season 8” be about?

In Legends of Tomorrow season 7, after the original Waverider is destroyed, the Legends start making plans for how to get back to their original timeline in 1925 Texas. They go to New York City to find Gwyn Davies, who was one of the first people to travel through time. J. Edgar Hoover is after them, but Nate ends up killing him by accident. In the meantime, Astra makes a human version of Gideon without meaning to. This version is fighting a virus to get back her memories.

Even though she can finally remember all of her good memories from the past, a young Bishop finds a copy of Gideon and resets her memories against the Legends. Later, the Legends find out that robots destroyed the Waverider and that they are fighting robots that look like them.

Alun and Gwyn admit that they love each other, and Gideon kicks Gary out of the group while the Legends fight their scary robot forms and try to get to certain places on time. When Gywyn finds out that it is a copy of Alun, he goes looking for the real Alun. As the season ends, Gideon struggles with her AI form and what she did to Gary, while The Legends get back to work and try to find Gwyn.

Legends of Tomorrow season 8 could be about them looking for him and seeing if he can find the real Alun. Sara’s secret and how it affected Ava will also be looked into. Possible story arcs include what happens to Gary, what happens to Astra and Behrad, how Zari and Spooner get along, and whether or not Gideon lives. Lastly, new characters could give the Legends new challenges and make things more interesting.

What Happened at The End of Legends of Tomorrow Season 7?

Dr. Gwyn Davies wanted to fake Alun’s death by using Gideon’s robot version of Alun. Gideon’s character was about to die in the last season of Legends of Tomorrow. She has already put most of her AI into a person, but the good Gideon came before she could carry out her plan. The good Gideon caused a temporal anomaly, which destroyed the ship’s system for hiding.

Evil Gideon kills herself. During this season, there were hints that Sara and Ava would become parents. The baby will be a girl who loves to shoot arrows. We also learned that Sara can make someone pregnant just by kissing them. There is a catch, though. She must want to have a child with that person very much if she wants to get pregnant.

Sara had to give up because she was pregnant. She gave her power to her daughter. She was so weak that even a small mishap could kill her. Garry was sent back in time to the year 30,000 B.C. There, he met some cave people and became friends with them. He did everything he could to make a door and get back to his own time. The Legends decided to go back in time to when Gwyn was still alive.

Gideon tries to get the Legends to do what he wants. The Legends decided to take Gwyn at her word. He had already explained to them that the paradox was true. If someone does something different, they are thrown into a paradox.

During the last war, Nate was glad that Alun was still alive, but Nate’s power went away. The police picked them up because they were wasting time. So, the season is over.

How the Cast Reacted to Legends of Tomorrow’s Cancelation?

Some of the actors on Legends of Tomorrow have said what they think about the show’s eighth season being cut short. Caity Lotz, who plays Sara Lance, aka White Canary, the leader of the Legends, said on her Instagram story, “I’m sad! “I’m sad because I’ll miss it so much” (via TVLine). Lotz has played Sara Lance on Legends of Tomorrow since the first episode aired in 2016.

It’s the end of an era for her and other regular cast members like Amy Louise Pemberton, Matt Ryan, Tom Forbes, and the rest of the Legends cast. “Working on Legends has been amazing.” In her Instagram story, Lotz went on to say. “It’s been such a long road, and I’m so thankful for it and for all of you. Also, thanks. To all the fans of “Legends of Tomorrow,” we love you so much. And it’s been a lot of fun.”

When the actors heard the news, some of them went on social media to share pictures and stories from behind the scenes. Heroes: Legends might have a future if the CW finds a new home on HBO Max, but that day has not yet come. The cast and crew of Legends of Tomorrow all had the highest respect for the show. Even though Booster Gold made his debut and the end of Legends of Tomorrow season 7 left many questions unanswered, Legends of Tomorrow season 8 was cut short.
