The Duchess of Cambridge was recently photographed wearing a G-Star pant made by MBM, a Bangladeshi garment firm, with her husband Prince William.
The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) released two photos of Kate wearing the pant on its Linkedin profile today.
BGMEA stated in the post that it is happy to see garments created in Bangladesh reaching the highest levels of fashion society, without providing any further specifics regarding the images. Mahmudur Rahman formed the MBM Group, which is a pioneer in Bangladesh’s garment business.
Bangladesh has also established a strong and trusted reputation as a prestigious brand among tens of millions of consumers in more than 160 countries for clothes “Made in Bangladesh,” according to the report. Bangladesh is the world’s second largest exporter of readymade clothes, according to the report, thanks to years of hard work, devotion, worker and entrepreneur commitment, and a relentless pursuit of perfection.
Garments created with care and quality in Bangladesh have gained the trust of tens of millions of people all over the world. According to the BGMEA, “Made in Bangladesh” has become synonymous with world-class quality that can be relied upon. “We are proud of our garment industry, which has not only made an immense contribution to the socio-economic transformation of Bangladesh, lifting millions of people out of poverty, empowering women, paving the way for girls’ education, but also brought glory to the country by making a prestigious brand in the world,” BGMEA President Faruque Hassan wrote on LinkedIn.
“Bangladesh will continue to work hard to maintain its position as a safe, ethical, and sustainable sourcing location for global apparel brands,” he added.
