1. Director of External Affairs

Just because you do not want to be a K-12 teacher does not mean that you have no interest in being recognized. If you have ever considered being the face of your school, you may want to consider becoming the director of External Affairs for your school.

As the name suggests, a director of external affairs is the face of the school for the public. They are responsible for a vast range of factors, such as recruitment, social media outreach, press conferences, and fundraising. It is a critical job that will keep you engaged at every turn.

2. Director of Finance

If you feel enthusiastic about money management and have an education degree, you may want to consider a job as a director of finance. This job puts you in a position to ensure that there are always enough resources to keep a school running by creating a budget and setting long-term financial goals.

Instructional coaches are professionals who ensure the academic growth of an educational institution. 6. Family Engagement Manager

The progress of a student does not depend on only what they do or learn in school. In fact, several studies show that a K-12 student’s family life can determine their academic potential. The involvement of a family in a student’s school life can make a big difference.
