This nutritious root vegetable is the best winter friend. They are full of nutrients and antioxidants, but are low in calories. Radish

These long white roots are easily available in the winter months. Radish stuffed roti is one of the favorite snacks in many Indian households. The high amount of vitamin C present in this vegetable helps to increase immunity and fight infection. Other nutrients such as calcium, magnesium and other antioxidants supply other benefits such as promoting bone health and preventing free radical damage again. The fiber present in them promotes digestion.

Carrots
