Bappi Lahiri has tested positive for Covid-19. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital late Wednesday night.
This legendary musician has been diagnosed with “mild COVID-19 symptoms,” his daughter and singer Rema Lahiri Bansal said in a statement.
Bappi Lahiri’s family requested those who came in contact with him to take appropriate action, Indian media report.
Like other countries in the world, the rate of Covid-19 infection has increased in India. There are reports of many celebrities from different parts of the country.
Recently several stars including Kartik Aaryan, Aamir Khan, Paresh Rawal, R Madhavan, Ranbir Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee were infected by the Coronavirus.
