The status function on WhatsApp has received a number of ‘interesting’ enhancements recently, including the ability for users to record and post voice messages to their status, as well as other improvements.

“We’ve introduced some intriguing new enhancements to the status feature, and we’re excited to share them with you. “Tell it how it is, your way, with voice status,” WhatsApp tweeted on Wednesday. “Say it like it is, your way.”

Voice status allows you to share your opinion on how things currently stand. You may now easily record voice messages and post them as part of your status updates.
Record Voice Status: It is simple to record and distribute voice messages such as shouts, joyous choruses, and laughs. Other types of voice messages are also possible.
Status Reactions: One simple tap is all it takes for a user to let loved ones know exactly how he or she is feeling while using Quick Replies.
Link Viewing to Get Easier: Any link posted in your status will be simpler to examine thanks to link previews.

Quick Status Viewing: As a result of this change, “rings” will now display around a user’s profile photo in the chat list. These “rings” will be green on Android and blue on iOS. The ring will indicate to a contract that the profile photo should be clicked in order to view the current state more quickly.
