It’s undoubtedly fresh off the assembly line, but if you’re simply in need of a new phone and don’t feel the need to splurge on all the latest bells and whistles, you have the potential to save a few hundred dollars by opting for a slightly older model.

2. You Want SIM Rather than e-SIM

Apple made a significant change with the iPhone 14 in 2022 by removing the slot for a physical SIM card. Instead, iPhones now utilize an electronic SIM, or eSIM, for activation. If you’re a fan of the gold iPhone and were hoping to see the iPhone 15 Pro decked out in this luxurious color, I regret to inform you that the iPhone 14 was the last model to feature a gold finish.
