The new British teen drama Heartstopper season 2 is based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel of the same name. Anyone who liked To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before or Never Have I Ever is likely to like this one, too.

On May 20, Netflix gave the show a double renewal, which means they will be able to stream it for two more seasons. Heartstopper Season 2 Release Date

It’s official: Heartstopper Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 3, 2023.

The release date was revealed by the streamer with an intriguing behind-the-scenes footage with various cast members discussing what fans can expect from the highly anticipated second season of the LGBTQ+ drama.

“There’s so many things with Elle this season that you’re not ready for,” Yasmin Finney says of her character in the clip, before adding, “I would say she’s different in the sense that she’s more confident.” She surrounds herself with individuals that lift her up.”

“Alice has some amazing scripts for us,” Kit Connor adds. It also has a cold and refreshing vibe to it. “It’s just a different vibe than season one,” says Joe Locke of his character, “Charlie goes on more of a journey.” His is a more mature story.”

Heartstopper will return for a second and third season on the platform in May 2022, according to the streamer.
