The streaming service HBO Max seems to be working on a TV series about “Harry Potter”. US media report on initial planning talks.
Fans dream of a sequel, now there are the first rumors: A “Harry Potter” TV series is said to be in an early development phase on the US streaming service HBO Max. The industry journal “The Hollywood Reporter” reports that there have been several conversations with scriptwriters to expand the stories about the magic students from Hogwarts.

Executives at HBO Max and the Hollywood studio behind it, Warner Brothers, had meetings to find an author and a pitch for a Harry Potter TV series. The project is not yet in development.
The film world of “Harry Potter” already consists of eight movies. There is also JK Rowling’s spin-off series »Fantastic Beasts«, two of five planned film projects of this material have been implemented, Fantastic Beasts 3 is in production.
