From Idea to Ecosystem: The Editorialge Evolution Story (2019–2025)

editorialge evolution story

When I joined Editorialge, I never imagined I would one day help lead this incredible newsroom during one of its most defining moments—our sixth anniversary. What began as a bold idea in 2019 has evolved into something far greater than a media brand. It has become an ecosystem—a dynamic space where journalism, creativity, technology, and education intersect.

As Acting Editor, I’ve had the privilege to witness this transformation up close—from our early days of freelance-powered storytelling to today’s globally recognized, multi-language platform connecting millions across six continents.

Six years. 30,000 stories. Countless moments of truth. And one unwavering mission—to inform, inspire, and innovate with authenticity.

2019: Where It All Began

Every great movement starts with a spark. For Editorialge, that spark ignited in late 2019 under the vision of our founder, Sukanta Parthib (Sukanta Kundu).

His ambition was deceptively simple yet revolutionary: to create a digital space where talented freelancers could produce authentic, fact-based journalism and reach a truly global audience.

Editorialge officially launched on October 30, 2019, in Wyoming, USA, with the motto “Impressive Creations.” From the start, the aim wasn’t just to chase news—it was to craft stories that inform and endure.

The early focus areas—technology, entertainment, lifestyle, and culture—were chosen deliberately. They represented universality. These were stories that could connect a student in Dhaka to a professional in London or a reader in Madrid.

2020–2021: Scaling Through a Global Crisis

Our first true test came quickly. The world shut down during the pandemic, yet Editorialge grew stronger.

Working remotely across time zones, our editors, writers, translators, and designers built one of the most agile newsrooms I’ve ever seen. We adapted overnight—embracing remote collaboration tools, diversifying coverage, and doubling down on credibility when misinformation flooded the internet.

This was also the period when Editorialge expanded into multilingual publishing, introducing Bengali, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, and Chinese editions. Each new language brought new communities, new voices, and new perspectives.

By the end of 2021, we had published more than 5,000 articles and built an international readership that cut across geography, culture, and ideology.

Even in isolation, we were connected—united by the belief that journalism must not pause, no matter the circumstance.

2022: Reinvention and Reach

In 2022, Editorialge’s journey shifted from survival to strategy. It was the year we began to reinvent ourselves for longevity.

Internally, we implemented a framework aligned with Google’s E-E-A-T principles—Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness—long before most publishers took it seriously. We refined our editorial standards, deepened fact-checking layers, and created a process that married creativity with precision.

New verticals such as business, technology, health, AI, and finance began to flourish alongside our cultural and entertainment coverage. The content mix became sharper, smarter, and more global.

That same year, Editorialge established physical offices in Dhaka, Kolkata, and Singapore—a milestone that signaled our transition from a small media startup to an international editorial network.

We ended the year with more than 9,000 published stories and a growing team of passionate journalists, editors, and digital strategists.

Editorialge Journey Timeline

2023: Recognition and Authority

If 2022 was the year of reinvention, 2023 was the year of recognition.

Editorialge’s reputation as a reliable and progressive digital publication gained international validation. Our Ahrefs Domain Rating climbed to 82, placing us among the top 8,000 websites in the world.

This wasn’t just a technical achievement; it represented trust—built through six years of accuracy, editorial rigor, and consistent engagement.

In September 2023, our founder, Sukanta Parthib, received the CXO 2.0 Outstanding Leadership Award for authentic content creation. It was a proud moment for everyone on the team, a reflection of how far a small, purpose-driven platform could go when powered by vision and hard work.

2024: The Ecosystem Takes Shape

By 2024, the transformation was undeniable. Editorialge no longer operated merely as a publication—it functioned as a global ecosystem connecting content, communication, education, and commerce.

Four parallel innovations began shaping our new identity:

  1. Editorialge News app: a user-friendly mobile app that delivers personalized news updates, in-depth features, and breaking headlines across categories, ensuring users stay informed on the go

  2. Edutorial.org: a kid-friendly educational world combining e-learning and play.

  3. Eco-Shop: a sustainable commerce vertical promoting eco-friendly products.

  4. Editorialge e-magazine: a monthly digital publication covering technology, culture, innovation, lifestyle, and global affairs.

Inside the newsroom, we began responsibly integrating AI-assisted tools—not to replace human writers, but to support them. Translation, transcription, and data research became faster, while editorial oversight ensured that ethics remained non-negotiable.

By the end of 2024, we had achieved true operational synergy: tech-driven efficiency, multi-language reach, and uncompromising editorial quality.

2025: Six Years of Global Impact

This year marks Editorialge’s sixth anniversary, and the numbers speak for themselves.

  • 30,000+ articles published

  • 60+ editorial and tech professionals worldwide

  • Readers in 100+ countries

  • Content in 7 languages daily (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Chinese, and Hindi)

  • Recognized at the 2025 APAC CEO Awards for authentic content creation

Our editorial expansion also reached Estonia and the United Kingdom, extending our global editorial footprint to six countries. We’ve matured into a media-tech hub that bridges journalism, education, sustainability, and digital innovation.

Editorialge’s greatest achievement, however, isn’t numerical. It’s the trust we’ve earned—from readers, contributors, and partners who know that every story we publish is backed by integrity and vision.

We’ve reported, we’ve educated, we’ve entertained—and we’ve built a global community in the process.

Our Guiding Philosophy: The Three A’s

At the heart of Editorialge’s evolution lies a simple but powerful framework—authenticity, accessibility, and accountability.

  1. Authenticity: Every story must carry truth. We verify facts, respect sources, and reject sensationalism.

  2. Accessibility: We create content for everyone—multilingual, mobile-friendly, and inclusive.

  3. Accountability: We own our words. If we err, we correct transparently. If we innovate, we explain responsibly.

These values shape every decision we make—from editorial priorities to AI integration, and from brand partnerships to reader engagement.

Looking Ahead: Editorial 2030

Standing at this milestone, I see not an ending but a launchpad.

The next phase—Editorialge 2030—is already in motion. Our roadmap includes:

  • Expanding investigative and data-driven journalism.

  • Developing interactive storytelling formats that merge visuals, data, and narrative.

  • Rolling out the Editorialge iOS app and Edutorial AR learning games.

  • Partnering with academic and research institutions to train young journalists in ethical, AI-supported storytelling.

We aim to become a global media-tech ecosystem—an innovation hub where credible journalism coexists with technology, sustainability, and education.

Reflections from the Newsroom

As Acting Editor, I have seen firsthand what makes Editorialge special: a relentless belief in possibilities. Our journalists don’t just report facts; they shape understanding. Our designers don’t just build visuals; they build emotion. Our developers don’t just write code; they write the future of media.

Every corner of this company hums with curiosity, courage, and creativity. We aren’t just storytellers—we are architects of connection.

Closing Words

Six years ago, Editorialge began as an idea—a promise that independent journalism could still shine in a crowded digital world.

Today, it stands as an ecosystem—a living, breathing network of storytellers, innovators, and readers who share one mission: to make truth travel faster than noise.

As I look around this newsroom, filled with languages, cultures, and ideas, I see something profound—not just what we’ve achieved, but what we’ve enabled: opportunity, integrity, and imagination.

The journey from idea to ecosystem is complete.
The journey from ecosystem to legacy—that begins now.

Happy 6th Anniversary, Editorialge.
