Karl-Erivan Haub Faked Death Reunite Lover Russia

German-American billionaire Karl-Erivan Haub, who was declared dead in May 2021, faked his death.

Three years after his disappearance in the Swiss Alps, he is now suspected of having faked his own demise to live clandestinely with his alleged mistress in Moscow, according to reports.

Let’s get into the matter.

Karl-Erivan Haub Faked Own Death To Live With His Lover

Haub, a former managing director of the German retail giant Tengelmann Group, went missing on April 7, 2018, while skiing in the Swiss Alps.

He was reported missing the following day after failing to return to his hotel in Zermatt.

Haub, who was last photographed on July 7, 2016, in Muelheim an der Ruhr, western Germany, was officially declared dead by the district court in Cologne, where he resided, in May 2021.

His wife, brothers, and company submitted the evidence for his formal demise.

However, a team of journalists from the broadcaster RTL filed a criminal complaint in May 2023, alleging that Haub may have faked his death.

The team claimed that there were indications of his intentional disappearance and that at least some of his family members were aware of it.

The latest investigation was initiated after the criminal complaint, and it has revealed some shocking details.

According to the investigation, Haub may have been involved with a younger woman in Russia, with whom he had frequent telephone contact before his disappearance and who is believed to be in contact with the Russian domestic secret service FSB.

The investigators have obtained photographs allegedly showing Haub in Moscow in 2021 – the same year he was legally declared dead.

Haub’s alleged lover is reportedly a Russian woman who has ties to a Russian event management agency. The investigation has revealed that Haub had been carrying on a secret double life with his alleged mistress, Ermilova, in Moscow.

The investigation has also revealed that Haub vanished just one month after the death of his father, Erivan Haub, who was worth an estimated $6.4 billion at the time, according to Forbes.

Boetticher suggested that Haub’s dealings with Russia or Russian business partners may have put him in a difficult position, leading him to fake his own death and live a secret life in Moscow.

Haub’s disappearance and the subsequent investigation have been widely reported in the media, with many speculating about his whereabouts and the reasons for his disappearance.

The investigation has revealed that Haub may have faked his own death to live with his alleged mistress in Moscow, away from the prying eyes of the media and his family.

The investigation has also revealed that Haub’s brother, Christian Haub, may have provided false information when he claimed to have no knowledge of his brother’s whereabouts.

The state prosecutor’s office in Cologne has launched an investigation into allegations that Haub’s brother provided false information following a criminal complaint from journalists with the broadcaster RTL.
