Sons of the Forest is a sequel to the 2018 hit survival game “The Forest” and follows a similar premise: you are the survivor of a plane crash that left you stranded on a forested island. So once again, you’ll gather resources, craft, and defend against mutated cannibals. It’s currently exclusively on PC at launch, but console ports aren’t entirely out of the question – here’s what we know about the Sons of the Forest on Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and other consoles.
Will Sons of the Forest Be on XBox, PS4, and PS5?
At the time of writing, Sons of the Forest is only playable on Windows PCs when it launches on February 23, 2023. The game developer Endnight is developing Sons of the Forest for PC only. However, The Forest was released on PC in 2018 and arrived on PS4 after early access. Hence the sequel may appear on PS5 or Xbox Series X later on.
