In the interview, he confirmed he had not found the right project. It is not because DiCaprio has not had the opportunity.
He was offered a role in Sam Rymy’s Spider-Man. But he did not agree with that character. Because, he thought, he was not ready to wear Spider-Man clothes.
He was also offered the role of Robin in the movie Batman Forever. He returned the picture with a strange excuse. He said he is not qualified to work in the film of a talented producer like Zol Schumacher.
Then he is asked, will he never be seen as a superhero? He replied, “You never know. You never know. They’re getting better and better as far as complex characters in these movies. I haven’t yet. But no, I don’t rule out anything.”
