Anxiety Attacks Caused by Artificial Intelligence

Anxiety Attacks Caused by AI

Listen to the Podcast:

Artificial intelligence seems to be here to stay. These methods have been used for years in many different fields, from medicine to astronomy. But recently, we’ve seen how it has crept into people’s everyday lives.

Using free AI tools, anyone can write an essay, a poem, or even an illustration. Because of this, some people think that the next step is for many jobs to become unnecessary. So worried are people that they talk about AI worry.

But would this worry be reasonable? In reality, it’s too early to tell. It is clear that artificial intelligence will bring about many changes in our lives and that many jobs will change, just as the Industrial Revolution did in its time. Then, many workers and managers were upset that machines were taking their jobs. Now, it looks like the most skilled jobs might be at risk. At least for now, the AI won’t replace masons or farmers, but it has already done that with voice players. Content Creators are also worried about where this could all lead.

But there are also a lot of people who want artificial intelligence to be used in their work. They think that it can make their jobs easier instead of taking away their jobs. They think that it can make their job easier instead of taking away their job. No matter what, it is clear that there are still a lot of unknowns. And that is one of the main things that causes worry. Maybe this is why people are already starting to use this idea. But how far does it make sense?

It all Depends on the Job

Jojo is 26 years old, and she has been an independent Video Editor for two years. For her, the idea of AI coming into the world can be scary. “Yes, it makes me worried because I feel like we’re going backwards,” the young woman told Hipertextual.”But at the same time, I think that in the end, it may just be a passing fad and that it can be regulated so that it can be used in another way.”

Like her, many people who make material are worried about the future, especially since ChatGPT came out.

On the other side are the mechanics, masons, or farmers, who are fully calm about the new situation. Even though they have a lot of training, their jobs are very hands-on. This makes it harder for artificial intelligence to take their jobs.

People in other fields, like healthcare, where AI has been used for a while, aren’t too worried either. They think AI can be a tool that helps them do their job better.

Now, what about people who work with computers? Artificial intelligence is making the most progress in this field. But in turn, they are the ones who brought them there. That’s why it’s not strange that people have different ideas. For example, Evon is 28 and still in school, but she already has a bit of a negative outlook on life. She says, “I think it’s a chance, but it’s also a technology that makes less work necessary, so there won’t be room for everyone.” “It will also need a better level of qualification. And in this situation, students who have a long way to go before they can settle in the job market start out at a disadvantage.

Ausding (a made-up name) also thinks that things might be harder for new computer scientists. He is 44 years old and works as a system administrator for a well-known software tool for business management. He thinks that there are some jobs that can’t be easily done by AI, but that the easiest ones can be easily done by AI.

“These are the most repetitive tasks and, from the start, the ones that are easiest and most likely to be automated,” he says. “From my point of view, it seems to affect more young people who are just getting out of school and starting to do internships in companies like mine.” “When they get a job that needs some internal training, they leave less and less room for that training to happen, and they learn from doing easier tasks to more difficult ones.”

He also says, “Even for some of these more complicated tasks, the goal is for them to need less and less human interaction.”

But some computer scientists are very excited about artificial intelligence. Tan is the person involved. He is 46 years old and calls himself one of those computer experts in the town who everyone goes to for help. In this way, he thinks that it can be very helpful.

“It’s useful for making photo montages with high resolution and separate audio tracks for each picture. Every day, new tools with new uses come out, and I like to know about them. I think that the latest improvements in AI won’t put people out of work, but will instead create new ones.

Is Anxiety About Artificial Intelligence Justified??

Some of the witnesses who gave interviews for this piece acknowledged having concerns about the coming of artificial intelligence. Andrea is one of them. “I really enjoy what I do, and I would not like to live bitterly doing a job that I do not enjoy in order to survive,” the speaker says.

Evon also claims to be anxious. He acknowledges, “It makes me quite anxious.” “I had promising employment prospects when I began my training, but these days they are questionable. I don’t want to be blinded by preconceived notions about a technology that, contrary to what so many people believe, may have more benefits than drawbacks. But I can’t help but be cautious and pessimistic.

Even though Ausding does not believe that his job is in danger, he also mentions uncertainty. “Since this is still in the early stages, there is still a lot of ambiguity, in my opinion. Perhaps what causes the most worry is this: “uncertainty.

It becomes obvious that uncertainty is what causes this worry. This is how Miguel Omar Herrero, a psychologist, described it to this media.

Uncertainty is one of the factors that has the biggest influence when we talk about anxiety. not knowing what tomorrow will bring. We have also been bound for a very long time by precariousness and instability in the workplace. Given this context, it becomes sense that the introduction of new technologies would raise some uncertainty. Luddism emerged in the 19th century during the industrial revolution as a form of protest against the worry that many employment would be automated. The most qualified positions are now under threat, which is a difference.

It also makes clear that “the anxiety that is generated does not only depend on the fact itself but also on the circumstances that surround it. “For instance, “having technology replace you in X function and new positions being created that you can fill is not the same as losing your job and running out of resources.” Or even that it takes your place, and you are aware that the machine’s massive labor load results in a means of income for these people, like the Universal Basic Income.

It is Better Not to Anticipate Events

Even people who are worried about artificial intelligence know that it’s too early to say what will happen. Caroline, for example, says that this is what she holds onto.”It helps me a lot to think about the present, that AIs still fail a lot, and that there are still media outlets that want to be professionals and don’t want to use this tool to make their company more hostile,” she says. “An AI still doesn’t know how to paint by hand, make a mural, or make a tattoo, but there is still hope in my sector.”

It’s something that the psychologist asked using this method agrees with. “Besides all this, we live in a time when there is a lot of hype, and it seems like this is nothing less than the Matrix,” he says. “There are many things about which we can have an opinion, a belief, or a guess. I do think it will affect us in the long run, even though many people think the opposite, but I think it might be best to wait a while and see how it fits into our lives.

Can Artificial Intelligence Capture Emotions?

The only thing that gives content creators hope is that AI might not be able to capture feelings as well as humans do. But there has been a lot of improvement in this area. Miguel Omar Herrero also says that people make their own feelings and that emotions can come from anywhere.

In short, “we can get excited about something they made, just like we get excited when we hear a cat meow or look at the stars. “Not only things made by people make us happy.

If you don’t agree, you can take the test by clicking on this link. Some of the pictures were made by painters, while others were made by computers. Would we be able to tell who doesn’t belong to our species? Would they really not make us feel anything? The test is doable. We might be surprised.

Does this mean that we should be afraid of AI? No, not always. In the same way that it has been talked about how important it is to make the goals of algorithms clear so that they don’t do things that are bad for people, it can also be made a law so that it is not an improvement that hurts people as a whole.

The goal of AI must be to make money, just like the goal of the Industrial Revolution. In reality, no one wants to go back to a time before it, even though the waste it causes should be stopped. We might not remember what it was like to live without AI in the future, and even if we do, we won’t miss it. Even so, this is just what happens when you let your mind run wild. We should let everything happen at its own pace and keep our feet on the ground while we wait.
