Top 5 Upcoming Smartphones in 2022

MWC (Mobile World Congress) has always been a large trade show with a strong concentration on mobile devices, although the massive portion of the term hasn’t applied as much in recent years. Because of the pandemic, it was much smaller and mostly online in 2021, whereas it didn’t happen at all in 2020.

MWC 2022 might then be a return to some semblance of normalcy for the event, as it is currently planned, with a physical presence in Barcelona as is customary. However, this will all depend on how the world looks closer to time, and with some ambiguity still present, we don’t expect it to be as large as it once was.

Everything we’ve heard or suspected about MWC 2022 so far, including when it’ll take place and what you might see there, is included here.

These are expected to be released in the next months and include devices from Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, LG, HTC, and Google.

Smartphones such as the iPhone 13 PRO, Samsung Note 20, Samsung S21, Oneplus 9 Pro 5G, and folding phones provide us a glimpse of what we might expect in the future. Modern gaming phones, such as the Asus Rog Phone 5, are also pushing the limits of mobile gaming.

Foldable smartphones such as the Huawei Mate X and Samsung Galaxy Fold Z3 offer a preview of smartphone technology to come.

That’s excellent news for smartphone fans: with production plans looking less shaky, 2022 appears to be a strong year for phones. The big brands and upstarts of the mobile industry have a lot to offer, from budget blowers to folding phones to flagship smartphones.

Do you want to know what’s coming up next? We’ve compiled a list of confirmed releases, likely launches, and rumored disclosures to show you which smartphones to expect in 2022 — as well as a few we’re hoping to see emerge from the shadows. In addition, we’ll keep this list updated with news on upcoming smartphone debuts on a regular basis.
