The LaFerrari, introduced in 2013, combined a V12 engine with electric motors to produce 950 horsepower. With a price tag of over $1 million, it was one of the most expensive cars of its time. Today, the LaFerrari is worth significantly more, with auction prices soaring into the millions.

McLaren hopes to achieve similar success with the W1. By keeping production numbers low and focusing on exclusivity, McLaren is positioning the W1 as a car that will not only deliver incredible performance but also appreciate in value over time.
