Alexa Davalos Exits ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ After 2 Seasons
It’s official: Alexa Davalos won’t be coming back for the 5th season of CBS’s “FBI: Most Wanted.” For those who have been following the show, you know it comes from the mind of Dick Wolf and gives us an inside look into the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force as they chase down some of the most elusive criminals.
Davalos hopped on board in Season 3, bringing to life the character Kristin Gaines, a former Naval Intelligence Officer turned FBI agent. If you remember, she stepped in after Kellan Lutz’s character, Kenny Crosby, made his exit in that season’s first episode. The show has seen a few cast changes, with Julian McMahon’s Jess LaCroix making an exit in the same season, and Dylan McDermott’s Remy Scott filling in the leadership role.
Before joining “FBI: Most Wanted,” you might have seen Davalos in “The Man in the High Castle” or perhaps caught her guest appearances in shows like “The Punisher” and “Angel.” She’s had quite the varied TV journey.
In the season we last watched, her character was pivotal in the manhunt for the fugitive Benji, who was responsible for a personal tragedy in Remy’s life.
However, there’s a bit of a cloud of uncertainty right now. Hollywood’s current strikes have thrown a spanner in the works for many productions, including “FBI: Most Wanted.” There’s no telling when Season 5 will be back on our screens. Also, how they plan to address Davalos’ exit, whether she might pop in for a goodbye episode or if they’ll find another way to wrap up Gaines’ story, remains a mystery for now. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and wait for updates!
