Eleven and mike

Now that the “portal” to the Upside Down is fully open, Vecna could return to the world he was exiled from when he first confronted Eleven, bringing with him all the nightmare-inducing creatures.

Max

Max was the major protagonist of Season 4, alongside Eddie. She confronted Vecna so that others could defeat him, which resulted in her falling into a coma. Everything indicates that Max is trapped in her own mind or in Vecna’s nightmare world, and Eleven will have to use her abilities to rescue her and help her awaken.

Lucas and Dustin

Lucas was present as Max confronted Vecna, and for a moment he feared he would lose her forever. Now, he serves as a kind of guardian and companion for her, visiting her in the hospital and reading her Stephen King books so she knows she is not alone.

Dustin witnessed Eddie’s death in the Stranger Things Season 4 finale and made sure his uncle was aware of his heroic actions. In Stranger Things Season 5, Eddie’s valor will undoubtedly serve as an inspiration for Dustin, and he may give his all in the final battle.

Joyce and Hopper
