Motorola Unveils Edge (2023) Midranger With Curved Display, Fast Charging
Motorola has announced the launch of a new midrange smartphone, the Motorola Edge (2023). With a starting price of $599, the phone aims to undercut Google’s Pixel 8 while offering some unique features.
Sleek Design with Curved Display
The Motorola Edge (2023) features a sleek design with curved glass on the front and back. It has a 6.6-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. The curved edges give it a distinctive look. The phone has an IP68 rating for water resistance.
Powered by MediaTek Chipset
Under the hood, the Edge (2023) is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7030 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs Android 13 out of the box. Motorola hasn’t provided details on future Android version updates.
Impressive Fast Charging
One of the biggest highlights of the phone is its 4400mAh battery with support for blazing fast 68W charging. Motorola claims 10 minutes of charging can deliver battery for a full day’s use. Capable Camera Hardware
For photography, the Motorola Edge (2023) features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and f/1.4 aperture. The 13MP ultrawide camera doubles up for macro shots. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera. The phone can record 4K videos at 30fps.
Competitive Pricing But Tough Competition
