MCU announces when Marvel Phase 5 release dates will be. The MCU movies and series that will be part of Marvel Phase 5 will come out in theaters and on Disney+. The Marvel universe keeps getting bigger, and Spider-Man: No Way Home showed that things are only going to get more crazy and complicated.

After Avengers: Endgame, Marvel and Disney said that this was not the end, but the start of new stories and heroes that would replace the old ones who gave us more than a decade of action and thrills, and they are already keeping their promise.

Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow (whose legacy lives on through Florence Pugh and her version of Yelena Belova) have already done their part to protect the world from the worst threats, and Hollywood will always be grateful to them. But, as we all know, superheroes can’t live forever. At some point, they’ll have to pass the torch to a new warrior series which is why Hugh Jackman left Wolverine behind, and Marvel was smart enough to see that as an opportunity.

For Marvel Phase 4 and Marvel Phase 5, the MCU had to be bigger and more important than ever. This time, they decided to expand their story to streaming and make new series for some of his best characters that would connect with the movie premieres and so far they have.

For now, there are still a lot of projects that need to be made, but MCU has already set Marvel Phase 5 release dates for the movies and series that will come out in theaters and on Disney + as part of its new phase.

Daredevil: Born Again

During the Marvel panel, it was announced that Charlie Cox will play Daredevil again. We last saw Daredevil in No Way Home with Peter Parker. This project is about a new series that will show more of the character, but it’s not clear if things that have already happened in the Netflix series will be left out.

Blade

The movie with Mahershala Ali had already been announced, but now we know that it will come out in 2023. The vampire hunter will face a new threat in the movie.

Thunderbolts

The Thunderbolts are coming to the MCU, and all signs point to them having something to do with Countess Valentina’s plans. According to Collider , we could see Yelena Belova and John Walker as part of this group of characters that are part of phase 5.

The arrival of Stature

Quantummania, the Ant-Man 3 movie, has a poster that shows Kang and confirms the arrival of Stature, who plays Cassie Lang, Scott Lang’s daughter. This time, Kathryn Newton, from the TV show Big Little Lies, plays Cassie Lang.

Marvel Phase 5 Release Dates on Disney+

In terms of series, Disney + has several premieres prepared, including the new project in which Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) plays She-Hulk, a new season of What If…? and Secret Invasion, where we could see more of Nick Fury and his work with the Skrulls, as well as the possible return of Monica Rambeau, who appeared in WandaVision .

Thor is already back in theaters with a new movie featuring Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor, but we’re also looking forward to the sequel to Black Panther, and a few movies that bring new characters to the big screen (like El Muerto, with Bad Bunny).

What’s left of Marvel Phase 4?

There’s a good chance that The Marvels, which comes out in July 2023 and is said to be a big group movie that will set up the next Avengers movie, will be the end of Phase 4. So, what needs to happen before Phase 5 starts?

Thor: Love and Thunder came out in theaters earlier this summer, and the I Am Groot shorts and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be released on Disney+ in August. What If…? came out later in the year. Season 2 will start on the streaming service, and on November 11, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will come out in theaters to end the year.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania will hit theaters on February 17, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will finally come out on May 5, and The Marvels will end the summer, and possibly this part of the MCU, on July 28.

The main filming for both Echo and Secret Invasion is done, and both movies are expected to come out in the first half of the year. Since the Skrull-focused show is about to start an unprecedented four months of reshoots, it’s likely that the Hawkeye spin-off will start the MCU on Disney+ in 2023, before Secret Invasion sets up The Marvels.

X-Men ’97 will not take place in the main MCU timeline. Instead, it will be a remake of the classic 1990s animated series. So, its place in the phases probably doesn’t matter, but if its release is planned for the middle of 2023, it should happen sometime in the summer.

But before 2022 ends, Disney+ will show the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and the Werewolf by Night Halloween Special. Both of these were made by Marvel Studios. The first one should help set up Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, while the second one will be a big step in the MCU’s move into the supernatural.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

In the movie, Doctor Strange had to deal with what happened after he opened the door to the multiverse. He gets a call from the Illuminati, who want him to stop a variant that is out of control and has too much power. However, he also has to deal with Wanda Maximoff, who will do anything to get her children back.

Hawkeye

In the first season, Jeremy Renner played Hawkeye again. He worked with Kate Bishop, who will be played by Hailey Stainfeld. Hawkeye and Kate went up against the Tracksuit Mafia, found out that the Kingpin was still in charge of the city’s criminal underworld, and convinced Yelena Belova that what she had been told about Natasha’s death was not true. They also left us with some hints about who Clint’s real wife is (all for a Rolex), so the story could go on in a second season.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Tom Holland, also known as the best Spider-Man, came back to try to fix the problems they caused him at the end of Far From Home. He asked Doctor Strange for help, which led to the Multiverse being set free. Holland worked with Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man to fight bad guys from different universes. This linked Holland’s movie to the second part of the Doctor Strange series.

Eternals

This time, Salma Hayek, Kit Harrington, Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, and Kumail Nanjiani make up a new superhero team. They bring to life a group of ancient beings who fight to protect people. The movie shows who made the Eternals and why they didn’t stop Thanos and his chaos when they were so powerful.

Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings

The villain who brought the first Asian-born hero to the MCU was also tied to the Iron Man movies. Shang-Chi is about a man who has to face his father and his past to save the world. He uses kung-fu to beat a villain who, deep down, is not as bad as he seems.
