Jeffries and Smith then enticed these men to participate in these events, providing them with substances like alcohol, muscle relaxants (known as “poppers”), Viagra, and condoms.
A Secretive Global Operation
The indictment reveals that Jeffries and Smith used their extensive financial resources and connections, including security professionals and contractors, to operate an international prostitution ring. These illicit events took the men to destinations like New York City, the Hamptons, and even hotels in Europe and Morocco.
Some of the alleged victims had ties to Abercrombie, having either worked at its stores or modeled for the brand. Prosecutors claim that Jeffries and Smith intentionally targeted heterosexual men, grooming them and preparing them for specific sexual activities. They allegedly drugged these men to perform acts against their will in certain cases.
